Don’t let the Japanese signage visible in the photos here scare you away! (All signage shown is modeler-applied detail stickers.) These structures are common enough in their appearance that they can fit in easily on virtually any North American layout.

These injection-molded plastic kits/sets are well detailed. Assembly of the Engine House and Yard Buildings is a snap, literally! All pieces snap into place and a few screws need to be secured into place, but absolutely no adhesive is required. Most of the structures included in the kits/sets are brown with a dark gray roof and a "concrete" slab foundation.

The #23-225 2-stall Wooden Engine House Kit has a 186mm X 84mm overall footprint and is designed to accommodate two parallel tracks with 33mm track centers.

A track section office, track shed, wood shop and lavatory building make up the #23-226 Yard Buildings Kit. These four structures are all nicely sized and could realistically fit in anywhere on practically any layout.

The #23-229 Steam Engine Service Facility Set includes a sand bin, an ash pit, a pumphouse with well and a water tower.

All pieces are factory assembled! If you’re modeling the steam era, this set is ideal for you.

There’s no doubt the #23-233 Wooden Station Buildings Set packs the most building for the buck. Eight useful buildings are included here -- an equipment shed, a wooden station office, a crew shower facility, a section house, a supply shed, a power house, an oil shed and a two-story yardmaster office. Again, all of these are factory assembled! A small call box and monument are also included.
